Anyone interested on meeting Mon morning for a easy run at 6:30 or 7am? I was thinking on either doing the Santa Ana River Trail off of La Sierra & Arlington or meeting at our park & running the canal. Let me know if you're interested.

Marcia, aka "Gidget", aka "Surfer Duddette", (not a poser - like some other people we know), thanks for letting Surfer Dude run with the "great 8's" on Sunday. Surfer Dude made a poem for you -

To run real fast, at the crack o' dawn
in the 2011 LA Marathon,
don't test the fates,
just join the eights.

And if you're going to toe the line,
don't even barely start to whine.
Cause pace leader Marcia is awfully tough,
she seems nice & sweet - but takes no guff!

Don't be fooled - she might look small,
but she'll outrun ya, like she's 10 foot tall!
And whatever you do, don't you dare be late,
or you'll be eating her dust, 'cause she's first out the gate!

So get out there bright & early,
and accept the fact that your leader's a girly.
She'll help you get that sub 3:30,
